We
can cut any design, graphic or letter out of
22 carat gold leaf material. This is the same
as vinyl except that it has gold leaf attached
to the adhesive. This is not fake vinyl. This
is true 22 karat gold applied to a roll and
computer cut to your exact specs. It will last
for at least 15 years and look good as new.
It will not tarnish.
The gold leaf vinyl is made of
genuine 22 karat gold, vaporized and sealed
into the "underside" of a clear, one
mil weather resistant high performance polyvinyl
fluoride (PVF) vinyl called Tedlar™ with
a permanent acrylic pressure-sensative adhesive
on a plastic release liner. Tedlar high performance
vinyl has excellent chemical, stain, UV, saltwater
and weather resistance. 
Genuine 22 karat gold used in making the vinyl
is an inert element which does not fade and
is made for outdoor use with a manufacturers
warrantee for 10-14 years. It's recommended
for use on boats, firetrucks, commercial vehicles...anywhere
that harsh weather or frequent cleaning are
a concern.
We do DO NOT recommend using Silver
Films for outdoor applications. Silver products
must also be applied dry. All exterior applications
MUST be edge-sealed. Even on interior applications,
we recommend "edge-sealing" any cut
lines and exposed edges. Use 1-Shot's #4005
clear, or easy-to-use Seal It Pens. DO NOT seal
the surface of the vinyl.
CARE:
The gold vinyl is graffiti resistant
and allows the use of soap and water, stain
removers, or even paint thinner to clean, then
just wipe the surface dry.
If you are on a tighter budget
and can't justify the cost of real gold, we
also have simulated
gold and silver turned vinyl that you can cut
your graphics or lettering out of.
