DIY FRAMES

Save money and do it yourself !

Have a photo you want to print out and frame? Make your own frame and mount the canvas yourself. Below are directions and photos on how to do it.

Large gallery wrap shipments that are over 3 x 4 feet can cost over $120 to ship by UPS and larger frames must be shipped by truck. A print with an unassembled frame will only cost $10.

The gallery wraps that use professional frames similar to an artist frame cost $80 or more to wrap, so we designed a cheaper economy version. Since you can't see the frame once it is mounted on a wall we use inexpensive wood that we cut square at the corners and screwed together. These frames cost half the price to mount a canvas print saving you money. If you buy a kit or make your own frame you will also save on shipping.

With a kit you only need to screw the frame together and staple the canvas. Kits are great for large 4 foot x 8 foot frames and will saves you hundreds or dollars.
